Irish clinics performing hair
transplants have seen a big growth in men coming through their doors
after Wayne Rooney decided to get a transplant.
A leading Irish surgeon has said Rooney has removed the stigma
attached to getting a hair transplant and as a result, business has
increased.

“Ever since Wayne Rooney went public we have definitely seen a
marked increase in the amount of enquiries, particularly over the
summer months and certainly more Irish men are confident intalking
to us about their problem” Dr Maurice Collins told the Irish Daily
Star.
Wazza spent €34,000 on his hair transplant in June and he didn’t
have much option but to go “public” about it due to the marked
difference in his appearance.
“I think Wayne Rooney going public was a brave move and provided
solace to a lot of men who suffer a great deal from this problem,”
the doc said.
