Welcome to our January Newsletter - I hope
everyone hade a fine festive season and wish
everyone well for the New Year. Now is a good
time to get started with that treatment if you
have just been thinking about it !!
There are a few changes to the site this
month. The design has changed slightly and we
are offering a few new features which I hope
everyone likes, mainly the forum and new polls.

Gray hair yielding cancer clues |

No doubt many researchers have gotten
gray hair trying to find ways to defeat
cancer. Now a team of scientists says
gray hair itself may yield clues to
fighting that deadly disease.
It turns out that melanoma, the most
dangerous type of skin cancer, involves
melanocytes, the cells that help color
hair and skin.
So researchers at the Dana-Farber
Cancer Institute in Boston decided to
investigate what happens when these
cells become depleted, allowing hair to
go gray.

Berlusconi happy about new hair |

Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi
says he feels 25 years younger after
having a hair transplant.
The Italian media had been
speculating about his hair since August,
when he appeared in a pirate-style
bandana.
Recommending cosmetic surgery, Mr
Berlusconi, 68, said his implanted hair
had been growing marvellously.
