Wayne Rooney double has hair transplant
June 2011

Looks like Wayne Rooney is in the headlines again over his hair
transplant.
But the Man United striker can join in the joke this time as the
bloody stubble trouble is being inflicted on a Wayne double.
The elaborate mock-up of Rooney’s hair transplant is the work of
artist Alison Jackson show the lookalike getting repeated
painful-looking injections into his scalp.
The double — whose forehead is going increasingly red during the
procedure — is a dead ringer for the 25-year-old England and
Manchester United striker.
The double also appears in a video pretending to show Wayne trying
on several wigs in a bid to cover up his balding bonce.
Jackson is renowned for her spoof paparazzi-style photos of famous
people, using lookalikes, including one of The Queen on the
lavatory.
Rooney, 25, has admitted having the £12,000 procedure at a Harley
Street clinic and released a photo.
Rooney hit the headlines after proudly posting pics of his new
hairline on Twitter.
During the eight-hour op hairs from the back of the head were
planted like seeds at the front. Team-mate Rio Ferdinand told him:
“You’ll be doing Head & Shoulder adverts soon.”
Next season there is no doubt who will be Old Trafford’s mane man.
