Lady Gaga has revealed in an interview with People Magazine that she has to “get a chemical haircut because my blonde hair is falling out“.

It looks like the years of dying her locks have finally taken a toll on her hair which is beginning to show the tell tale signs of over use of hair products with noticeable hair loss from the front hairline which is where the it is weakest on the scalp.

This would not be the first time a celeb has noticed hair loss from abuse of the scalp as was shown last year with photos of Naomi Campbell’s bald patches either side of her scalp as a result of years of wearing hair extensions.

The 24 year old Poker Face singer also mentioned that she suffers from sore feet with her panache for ridiculously high heeled shoes and goes to bed with her makeup on saying “That’s not good for your skin, but I’m blessed with good genes. I don’t like to tan my face because it’s bad for wrinkles”

Lady Gaga is known for her revolutionary artistic approach to fashion, music, video, art and live performance but many are worried about the toll it has taken on her.

Gaga certainly suffers for her art in a way that not many artists would understand and this places her into the same category of artist as David Bowie and Syd Barrett.

At a time when most ‘artists’ are being dumbed down artistically Lady Gaga shines in her originality and dedication to producing something different to a world that desperately needs originality.

Probably one of the only news worthy celebrities of these times.
